In Buenos Aires, Argentine police rescued a 16-year-old girl who was being sexually exploited by her own family. The family was commercializing explicit content of her on digital platforms. According to police sources, the operation was prompted by the Ministry of National Security and carried out by agents from the Federal Department of Investigations (DFI) of the Argentine Federal Police (PFA). Following a request to the PFA's Trafficking in Persons Department regarding a potential case of the sexual exploitation of a minor, federal detectives began various field operations and cyber patrols. During this process, they identified the young woman who was being sexually exploited by her immediate family. As a result of the investigation, it was determined that the same family members were organizing and commercializing sexual content material through digital means. Thus, a property was located in the locality of San Carlos, in the municipality of La Plata. The property was raided, and the minor was found inside. She was taken into custody and assisted by professionals from the National Coordination Office for the Rescue and Accompaniment of Victims of Trafficking. In this operation, two men and two women, all four relatives of the minor, were charged. Additionally, six mobile phones were seized. Like the four accused, they were placed at the disposal of the intervening judge.
